Brief description of the Unit
The Industry Placement Program integrates academic study with work experience in appropriate fields of business, industry, social services, not-for-profit organisations and the professions. The unit-work component (ATSGC3796) constitutes the academic context in which students identify the learning opportunities in the workplace, integrate their study with work practice and reflect on the application of knowledge and skills gained through academic study to the varying requirements of the workplace.

Completion of assessment tasks in consultation with academic supervisor;
Regular workplace visits and consultation between student and academic supervisor or progress.
