Brief description of the Unit |
This course involves a workplace placement of 100 hours in a governmental, not-for-profit or commercial organisation. Students are required to identify an appropriate placement organisation, plan and implement a workplace project, and at the conclusion of the placement prepare a comprehensive report. Through their participation in the placement students will link discipline knowledge with workplace practice. |

Unit Content: |
The course content is determined by the student's choice of placement and the discipline background they bring to this placement. Students will be directed towards relevant resources to support their development of professional knowledge and transferable skills, as required by the workplace and their project. Students are required to: participate as a member of the organisation team including undertaking routine practices of the organisation; work on a particular project of benefit to the organisation. |
