Brief description of the Unit

This course aims to enhance students knowledge and skills in a chosen field through an in-country experience. It comprises participation in a project related to students fields of study in an off-shore location, enabling students to examine another culture first-hand while analysing and reflecting on the impact of the project and their own culture on the target community.

•Participation in a project related to the students field of study in an off-shore location
•Background study of the culture and society to be visited as part of the project
•Reflection on issues that arise as a result of student participation in the project
