Brief description of the Unit

The aim of this unit is to develop among students an understanding of workplaces of the future. The unit provides an understanding of how new technologies interact with existing technologies and institutions, and how organisations respond to the changes brought by new disruptive technologies. Further, this unit aims to equip students with the theoretical and practical tools needed to respond to the changes brought by disruptive digital technologies. As a part of this unit, students will also complete IBM’s practitioners' course in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and will earn an IBM badge.
