This unit is designed to build a framework of practice and experience of the basic principles of technology currently used in the theatre environment. Subject areas may include sound design and operation, lighting design and operation, data projection, managing the set design and building process, and OH and S approaches for the theatre environment. |

Unit Content: |
This unit is designed to build a framework of practice and experience of the basic principles of technology currently used in the theatre environment. Subject areas may include: sound design and operation lighting design and operation how to program data projections Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) approaches for the theatre environment. Students will be encouraged to take a hands-on approach in a studio setting and practice using current technology, inclusive of computer programs for theatre. |
