Brief description of the Unit

This unit builds on theory gained in Community, Paramedic Culture and Practice 1 with particular emphasis on analysis of culture and current practice. The knowledge gained in HCPAR5021 will enable students to extend their participation in the online discussions with greater understanding of the ambulance context.

S2.	Debate current topics of controversy within pre hospital medicine and understand the specific challenges that come with the pre hospital environment.

A1.	Analyse the current Clinical Practice Guidelines with a particular focus on the evidenced based research upon which they are formulated.

This unit is designed to build upon and extend your knowledge and skills from HCPAR5021, and to develop interest and competence:
