| Brief description of the Unit |
This is the first part (Part A) in a two part Masters Research unit chain. Within this unit chain students will work independently (with supervision) in completing a research project relevant to a contemporary speech pathology theory or practice issue in a Health discipline. In enacting their research plan in Part A, students will be required to demonstrate a solid understanding of their research methodology in a written research proposal, as well as strong organisational and planning skills. Students will consolidate their knowledge on their research topic area by designing, describing and presenting their project topic and research design and undertaking a critical analysis of the literature, culminating in the production of a literature review paper. |
