| Brief description of the Unit |
The unit is designed to move beyond teaching anatomy and physiology as separate disciplines. By emphasising the connections between structure (anatomy) and function (physiology), it will support a more holistic understanding of how the body works. A systems based approach will allow students to focus on one body system at a time before moving onto the next. The integrated nature of Anatomy & Physiology will be reflected in the way content is presented, assessed, and applied throughout the unit. |
