| Brief description of the Unit |
This unit is the second of two clinical practice units consisting of 480 hours of professional experience placements, which are designed to set the foundation for learning experiences within health settings. This unit is made up of three 5-week placements in different discipline areas selected from the mandatory placements of acute care, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, rural care, and virtual care. The total of 15 weeks of supervised professional practice clinical experience will be conducted in clinical settings in a range of public and private healthcare facilities across the state. The virtual care clinic is located in Gippsland. Attendance is mandatory. Students are required to travel to placement and stay at their own cost. |
