480 hours of Professional Practice clinical placement experience (part two of NHPPS 3107)
Each five-week block (32 hours per week) of clinical experience provides opportunities to integrate theory and practice. In a wide range of settings, you will be given the opportunity and instruction to develop and refine your clinical and reasoning skills necessary for entry into the workforce. Work-based placements allow the development of competencies required for professional practice, including reflective practice, clinical assessment, intervention skills, professional communication, and self-management. Not only will you practice the skills taught, but you will also continue to develop your professional identity.
