| Brief description of the Unit |
This unit introduces students to the foundational frameworks that guide nursing practice in Australia, including professional standards, ethical and legal responsibilities, consumer rights and the strength-based nursing framework. It explores the role of the nurse within the interprofessional healthcare setting and focuses on the development of therapeutic and professional communication as fundamental skills in delivering safe, person-centred care. |
