Brief description of the Unit

This unit consolidates students’ advanced theoretical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and practical skills to support the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care. Students will apply key principles and professional standards across diverse healthcare contexts, with a focus on ethical accountability, reflective practice, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork.

Through clinical laboratory sessions and 200 hours of supervised clinical placement, students will develop the ability to integrate clinical judgement with evidence-based practice to ensure safe, culturally responsive, and strengths-based care in alignment with national nursing standards.
