Brief description of the Unit |
This unit will extend students’ skills and knowledge in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and covers advanced skills and techniques involved in psychological interventions for working with complex client presentations. There is a strong experiential focus within the unit and a clear emphasis on clinical relevance and practice. Students work with several cognitive-behaviourally based therapies to gain experience applying different therapeutic constructs and techniques to a range of moderate to severe clinical disorders. |
