Brief description of the Unit |
This unit is designed to develop scientist-practitioner and reflective practice skills while engaged in psychological practice in the community. Students will have the opportunity to enhance their clinical practice via professional development, apply their professional communication skills, and demonstrate the application of the scientist-practitioner model to a case study. Upon completing this unit, students will have a solid understanding of a registered psychologist's ongoing professional development requirements and demonstrate competency as a scientist-practitioner in clinical practice. |
