Brief description of the Unit

The unit provides an opportunity for students to consolidate their independent creative, thinking, and research skills through a deepening awareness of both traditional and experimental modes of practice, philosophical and critical thinking and evaluation. The role of practice-led research in the work of a professional artist is an area of focus. Students will continue to work supervised and in consultation with teaching staff in pursuing their own unique and individual mode of artistic expression.
