Students enrol with Victorian Institute the Earth and Planetary Sciences and study courses made available through them and the participating partner universities in areas including (but not limited to) geology, geophysics, geochemistry, geochronology, geomorphology, hydrogeology, climatology, oceanography and meteorology. This can involve the use of technology and software in the analysis and modelling of earth processes and features, the development of a suite of field techniques and mapping skills and through the attendance and participation in excursions and fieldtrips, both locally and interstate/overseas. *The choice of course/s to be undertaken must be approved by the Federation University VIEPS coordinator and the relevant Program Coordinator; |
